A: OMG I LOVE DRYSOL!!!
I use Ban, but only because that’s what’s in my house. You can use whatever kind you like.

In the morning after washing off the drysol, can you use deodorant? In the Drysol instructions it says not to use deodorant when using drysol. Does that mean when u have the application on or at all times until you don’t use it anymore.

It seems tough not being able to use deodorant if you have to use drysol for a long tome if not life.

A: Yeah you can still use deodorant.
But just don’t use too much of it . :D

A: you can defiantly use deoderant with drysol
i specifically asked the pharmasist
and he said go for it,
deoderant, is more for smell.. so it doesnt get in the way of the medication..
and when you take a shower
yes you can apply deoderant,
and that night you can also apply drysol on.
so trust me
i have been using drysol for a good 3 years now,
cause it does what needs to be done
and i have been using deoderant on top of that too :)
so yah

I heard you’re supposed to get it over the counter & have to get it prescribed to you?! but my mom doesnt believe me when i tell her i have hyperhidrosis… &ive tried everything on the shelves& this is really my last hope. I was wondering if i could just go to the store& buy it without going to the doctors? i dont have time to do that with my hectic’ schedule! :0

I use it and yes, it works well and it is used for under your underarms.
It is about $22.00 and no you dont need a doctors pescription
I bought it at the chemist, it is a roll-on and you put it on over night.

Q: i have very sweaty armpits, ive tried everything!! drysol, (prescr.antiprespirant), clinical deodorant, help!!
I have the problem with very sweaty armpits, therefore, they smell!!! i have tried everything! since strong deodorants, to drysol (prescription antiprespirant) but nothing seems to work. I dont break into sweat like running water, but i get sweaty enough to smell like if i hadnt taken a shower in days!! im desperate and dont know what to do, ive tried doctors and all but they dont give me a solution. What can i use or do?? please help me!

A: I had this problem several years ago, and found that by taking a Zinc supplement, my issue cleared up. I took 20 mg. twice a day for a couple of weeks, and then dropped down to 20 mg. once a day. It truly was an amazingly simple cure.
I highly reccomend that you buy the Zinc at a health food store, even though it is readily available elsewhere. The Zinc in the Health Food stores is a much higher quality, and hasn’t been sitting in a warehouse for several years.

A: Yep! you are supposed to use drysol at night! thats what it’s meant for. If you’re a little worried about the deodorant still, just put the drysol on after you have showered. But the drysol should be fine to put on even if you have had deodorant on during the day!

Q: Has anyone used Drysol prescription deodorant???
I have used this for two days, and when I put it on, my armpits are sooooo itchy, to the point were I have to rinse it off. Any input would be great!!

A: one of my friends uses it all the time, and it doesnt seem to ich her, maybe you`re allergic!

A: try using only Tom’s natural deodorant

Q: How long does it take Drysol to fully work?
My doctor gave my Drysol today for my underarms, and I was wondering, if I put it on tonight, will I see any improvements by tomorrow? And if not, how long does it usually take for it to kick in?

Also, should I just put on regular Secret deodorant tomorrow morning? Or is Drysol good for odor too?

A: You put it on at night, then wash it off in the morning with soap, you should see results tomorrow. You should use deodorant tomorrow even though you used Drysol because it does not protect against odor. Hope this helps.

Okay, so I have hyperhidrosis on my palms, feet, and my underarms. I recently got Drysol prescribed and I used it for the first time yesterday. It stopped the sweating under my arms by a great deal, but it had little affect on my palms and feet.
Does it take a few days to fully work, orr..?

Also, can I use deodorant the morning after I wash off the Drysol?

A: I have palmar hyperhidrosis and I use Drysol too. It only makes my hands about 20% drier and still its hard to tell.

And I don’t think the Drysol “washes off” cause then it wouldn’t block the sweat ducts anymore.. so I’m pretty sure you can apply deodorant as well.

A: Go to Wal Mart and get CERTAIN-DRI. It is AMAZING. Put it on before bed. It works wonders.

A: The best thing you can do is get an experts opinion and a prescription. Go see the dermatologist.
