Q: which medicine has same effect with tamsulosin?
some body please tell me which medicine to take if tamsulosin cause allergy?

A: im a pharmacy tech, so I obviously don’t know what to prescribe to someone, but I can tell you a few drugs that are in the same class as tamsulosin and a little bit about them if that helps: These drugs are in a class called a-Adrenergic Blockers (adrenergic antagonist for benign prostatic hypertrophy)Ok, tamsulosin is the generic form of Flomax, it comes in oral form with common dosage of 0.4mg every day. there’s also Hytrin(generic=terazosin) in oral route and common dosage of 1-10mg daily and Cardura(doxazosin) in oral capsules and 1mg four times daily. There are other drugs which block alpha adrenergic nerves throughout the body and which are used in treating diseases of the heart, blood vessels, and prostate for example, prazosin (Minipress), terazosin (Hytrin), doxazosin (Cardura), and alfuzosin (Uroxatral). Tamsulosin is more active against the alpha adrenergic nerves of the prostate and bladder neck than these other drugs and has a lesser effect on alpha adrenergic nerves elsewhere in the body. Hope this is somewhat helpful!

Q: My 6 month old puppy got hold of a Tamsulosin Hydrochloride capsule…any need to worry?

A: Nope, You don’t need to worry about it, Because she will be fine soon.

Q: Inter-reaction between warifin and tamsulosin. Does it increase or decrease the thinning of the blood?

A: The information I found states as follows:
Warfarin: A definitive drug-drug interaction study between tamsulosin and warfarin was not conducted. Results from limited in vitro and in vivo studies are inconclusive. Therefore, caution should be exercised with concomitant administration of warfarin and tamsulosin capsules.

Listed below is the site. I don’t know if that helps.

Q: Is it safe to smoke some marijuana to supplement hydromorphone for pain?
I have kidney stones and was given Hydromorphone (2-4 mg dose every 4 hours) by the emergency doctor as well as Tamsulosin (.4 mg dose before bed). The dilaudid isn’t killing the pain so a friend suggested I try smoking some marijuana as well.

Q: uses for tamsulosin 400 mcg?
tamsulosin hydrochloride product information and its uses

A: Tamsulosin blocks alpha receptors in the muscle of the prostate gland, which causes the muscle in the prostate to relax. This allows urine to flow freely past the prostate and relieves the urinary symptoms. The drug is given for the symptomatic treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarging of the prostrate) which can cause pressing on the urethra and obstructing the flow of urine from the bladder. This can cause various urinary symptoms, such as difficulty passing urine.

Q: I am passing Kidney Stones and Cannot Ejaculate. why?
Hi. This is my second time with Stones and I am only 27. I DO know why they occur but obviously failed at preventing this case.
I have been doing some online reading in order to find my answer and all I can find are guys asking if their ejaculate would help bring out the stone or the fact that they think it CAN but can’t ejaculate.
My issue is that I am masterbating for “recreational” purposes … and cannot seem to pass a load.
I got my case of the Stones on Friday morning, hospitalized of course and I have been at home water flushing them out… yes and I did say THEM. Multiple grains again and again.
I do have a large 0.5 cm one still on its route and think perhaps that this may be causing the problem.
It is now Sunday evening and with little discomfort I am masterbating but.. I seem to have a problem. The orgasm is there but nothing else.

Do you think that the Flomax (Tamsulosin), used to open the passage ways in my Prostate and the Toradol (Naproxen) Anti-inflammatory I am taking is interfering with my ejaculatory duct??

or is there another reason?

Thank You
your a dumb a s s. That is not my question!
I want to know the reasons why I cant ejaculate.
Stick to the question

A: There is a slight possibility of the ejaculate back flowing into the bladder in this type of situation. If your urine is slightly cloudy then I’d say that is what it is.

Otherwise it could be that the meds prescribed are causing it. I believe Flomax has a reported side effect of negating ejaculation. Naproxen being an NSAID wouldn’t affect that process at all. I’d lean towards the Flomax causing a decreased intra-prostatal pressure which would then limit or negate your ejaculation as there simply isn’t enough pressure. Bio-physics at work.

Q: use of capsules DUTAS- T for BPH second stage?
my grandpa is aged 68. for the last 15 days, he has been taking capsules DUTAS- T (a combination of two different capsules) to cope with his prostrate problem(BPH 2nd stage). he wishes to know if will have any bad effect on his health if taken regularly (1 pair a day) for months.

the DUTASTERIDE capsule contains 0.5mg of DUTASTERIDE and this TAMSULOSIN capsule contains 0.4mg of TAMSULOSIN HYDROCHLORIDE.

A: Dutasteride is used for treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). This is when the prostate is enlarged in men and causes problems with urinating. Dutasteride is similar to Finasteride (the active ingredient in Propecia and Proscar) with the way that it inhibits DHT. Dutas (Generic Avodart) shrinks the enlarged prostate over time and brings relief from the symptoms commonly associated with BPH.

Dosage
Take dutasteride exactly as directed by your doctor. Take each dose with a full glass of water and swallow the capsules whole. Do not chew, crush or break the capsules. Dutasteride can be taken with or without food.

Side effects
The most common side effects are impotence (trouble getting or keeping an erection), a decrease in libido (sex drive), breast enlargement and tenderness (gynecomastia), a decrease in the amount of semen released during sex. These side effects usually decrease or disappear with continued usage, or stopping the medication altogether.

Precautions
Do not stop taking dutasteride without first talking to your doctor. While some men have fewer problems and symptoms after 3 months of treatment with dutasteride, a treatment period of at least 6 months is usually necessary to see if treatment with dutasteride will be beneficial.
